Geraldine Jenkins was born to the late Willie and Lonnie B. Brandshaw on April 28, 1942. She was born in Miami, Florida and received her education in the Miami-Dade County Public School System, She attended Bunche Park Elementary and North Dade Senior High School where she met Bobby Jenkins whom she would later join in holy matrimony. To this union, three beautiful daughters were born. Jerry”, as Geraldine was affectionately called, retired from Jackson Memorial Hospital after 17 years of employment. She was a member of St. Andrews Missionary Baptist Church For over 30 years. She also attended Miami-Dade County Community Action Agency For the Elderly programs. Jerry was a very sweet and loving mother and grandmother who loved watching all sports on television, and she enjoyed playing Pokeno and other card games with her family. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby Jenkins a Daughter: Alfreda Jenkins, Brother Willie Bradshaw, and grandson: Tarvaris Jenkins. Geraldine was called home on August 17, 2019 to meet her Heavenly Father where she would have eternal life with no more sickness and no more pain. She leaves to mourn, two daughters:Sharon and Renee Jenkins, two sisters Willie B. Powell and Rosa Lee Mitchell , Brother. Howard Bradshaw, grandsons Delshawn Brodus ,Donald Jenkins, Daldre and Deondre Lane , three granddaughters Latisha and Nicole Jenkins and Trera Lewis eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephew who she loved very much.
