Geraldine ButtermanLansing Age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.  She was born on May 23, 1937 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Matthew and Grace Butterman.  Geraldine was a life-long educator, teaching at the University of Maryland and most recently, spent over 31 years teaching biology and anatomy at Lansing Community College.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Hope Church and volunteered her time and talents with "Into the Streets" ministries as well as several prayer groups. Surviving are her sister, Jane Steenstra and nieces, Yvonne, Erica, Leslie and Amy; many good friends also survive. A service to celebrate Geraldine's life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, 11:00 am, at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw Hwy with Diane Dalton officiating.  Burial will follow at Delta Center Cemetery, Delta Twp. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Into the Streets ministry c/o Mt.
