Gerald Curtis Jackson was born in Chicago on September 4th,1944 to James and Jeanne Jackson. He attended Hyde Park H.S., served in the Army and later became a driver for C.T.A where he retired after many years of service.

In 1967 he married Diane Johnson. This union produced three beautiful daughters, Diane, Natatlie and Jerie. He was the type of man who stayed mainly to himself in his lounge chair watching sports or old karate movies. Gerald loved to talk on his C.B, music and going to the casino. He also enjoyed playing on his C.T.A softball team.

Gerald embarked on his heavenly journey on June 20th 2019 where he joins his mother Jeanne, his father James, his only brother James Jr and his youngest daughter Jerie. He is survived by his children Diane, Natalie, Curtis and Kelly, his grandchildren Rodney Jr, Kiara and Kyle, his sister-in-law Ethel his niece, nephew, other family members and friends
