Georgia passed away at the age of 91 years young! She was born to Ira and Rosa Duncan in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Georgia graduated from Will Roger's High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Edward and Jimmy Duncan, along with her son Terry Tull. Georgia is survived by 3 sisters, Iris Duncan, June Dixon and Carol Kennedy. Georgia worked for the Civil Engineer Corp in Port Hueneme, California as an Academic Service Director for 20 years before retiring in 1979. She was a kind and generous person who always puts others first. She embraced life and found something to enjoy everyday. Even in her final days she was still smiling and caring about others.
Georgia was married 3 times and raised 8 children: Sandra Cotham, Terry Tull (deceased), Donald Webb, Richard Webb, Kathyrine Perry, William Helderlein, Jr, Deborah Helderlein and Frank Helderlein. She is survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her greatest love was her family and friends. She also, loved genealogy research and spent 35 years accumulating boxes of research data for several family members. She wrote and published a reference book entitled 1860 and 1870 Polk County AR Census.
A "Celebration of her Life" will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11 am at Bakersfield First Assembly of God Church, 4901 California Ave. Bakersfield, CA. 93309.
