George F. Contreras, 57, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.He was born on July 12, 1957 in Riverside, Calif. to Henry Contreras and Tomasita Mollinedo Contreras.He was a beloved father, brother, son, husband, grandfather and uncle. His hobbies were fishing, camping and spending time with his grandkids and family. He was a friendly person who cared for and loved everyone. He loved his kids very much and was filled with joy and love for his grandkids, Kaelee and Landeynn.He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Henry and Tomasita Contreras; brothers, Rudy, Henry, Albert and Eddie Contreras.He is survived by his sons and daughter, George Joseph Contreras, Jr. (Jessica), Albert Robert Contreras, Selena Nicole Contreras (Jose); two grandkids, Kaelee and Landeynn; ex-wife, Yolanda Contreras; step-grandchildren, Rebbeka, Margarito and Edwardo; in-laws, Robert and Vicky Avila; brothers, Lawrence (Janet) and kids, Tudy, Jimmy, Jerry and David (Viola) Contreras; sister, Rachel Contreras; sisters-in-law, Pam and Krystal Sandoval and family; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at The Heart of David Church; 333 Peggy Lane in Las Vegas with Pastor Lawrence Contreras officiating.Serving as casket bearers will be Pam Sandoval, Emmanuel Contreras, Albert Contreras, George Contreras Jr., Jose Martinez, Andy Galbadon, Lawrence O'Conner and Ryan Galbadon. Serving as honorary bearers will be: Landeynn Martinez, Kaelee Romero, Ariel and Antonio Sandoval, Destiny and Desiree Contreras, Cassidy and Dallas O'Conner and all of the West Las Vegas baseball team. Cremation will take place after services. George F.
