KENOSHA - Genevieve Garski, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Genevieve was born on May 16, 1940 in Boscobel, WI, the daughter of Ruth (Strommen) and William Fox Sr. She attended William Horlick High School in 1957. She retired from Ametek Lamb Electric Co., where she was employed for 30 years. She met her husband, Richard Garski Sr. in 1960 and they were wed on September 2, 1961. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, going to casinos, listening to country music, and spending quality time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard Garski Sr.; sister, Evelyn Shore and brother, Michael Fox; sisters-in-law Jerilyn Fox and Bonnie Fox; 5 children, Debra McMichael, Jeffery Garski, Diana Macareno, Lisa Koehn, and Richard Garski Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Eggers, Gina (James) Hardy, Amanda Bucher, Brittany Garski, Danielle Macareno, and Morgan Garski; and 1 great-grandchild, Deacon James Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and William Fox and 3 siblings, David Fox, William Fox Jr., and Barbara Graceffa. A special thank you goes to Genevieve's nurses, Jill and Shirley, who took wonderful care of her over the past year.
