Geneva Ann DemsterMALTA: Geneva Ann Demster, age 79, of Malta, passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.She was born on May 24, 1933 in Stockport, the daughter of Earl and Hazel Remy Scott. She was a member of Malta United Methodist Church and American Legion Ladies Auxillary. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Village of Malta and as a nurses aide at Mark Rest Center.She is survived by three sons, John Michael Demster of Massillon, Robert Todd Demster of Chesterhill, and Jeffrey Lee Demster of Malta; one daughter, Pamela Ann Stokes of Marysville; one brother, Carlos Scott of McConnelsville; and one sister, Inez Cain of Caldwell; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. Frank Demster; son, Larry Demster; three brothers, Virgil, Lawrence, and Vernett Scott; and one sister, Grace Cain.Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
