Clark, Gene F. "Coach Grandpa"Gene Clark, 73 of Neenah, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, January 8, 2017 with family by his side, and joined his two daughters, Tammy and Sissy, up in Heaven. Gene was born on June 14, 1943 to the late Willys and Marie Clark. He graduated from Winnebago Lutheran, Fond du Lac, and married Catherine Kraus on February 23, 1963. He was employed at Winnebago Color Press for 42 years.Gene enjoyed watching the Packers, the Badgers, the Brewers, and NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and driving his Mustang, "Bullit." Gene looked forward to every spring when he would coach Little League baseball for Suburban Athletics, which he did for many years, earning the title "Coach Grandpa."He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catherine Clark; daughter, Roberta (Dan) Endter; two grandsons: Kyle (Mandi) Endter and Derek Endter; his brother, Dennis Clark; sister, Julie (Keith) Warning; sisters-in-law, Betty (Gene) Dombrowski; Ann Kraus; Anna Mae Seivert; and several nieces and nephews.Gene is preceded in death by his two daughters; mother and father; great-grandson, Dominick Endter; mother-and-father-in-law, Alice and Sam Kraus; sister-in-law, Barbara Millstein; two brothers-in-law, Paul Koller and Richard Kraus.The funeral service for Gene will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with Rev. D.J. Engelbrecht officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 11, 2017, and again at church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
