Gaylan Ray Unruh was born on November 11, 1950 in Oklahoma, Oklahoma to parents Raymond and Jessie Unruh. He passed away peacefully on March 23, 2015 in Turlock, California at the age of 64. He retired from the City of Merced after 15 years of service. He is survived by his children, Michelle and Christopher Unruh his siblings, Shirley Gauger, Donise Viesca, Glen and his wife Brenda, Sue Unruh. Linda Calderon and husband John, Wayne Unruh and his partner Linda, Deborah Graves, Weslie Unruh and his wife Annie and many, many, many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Monday, March 30, 2015 form 10am - 2pm with Funeral services starting at 2pm at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home located at 3050 Winton Way in Atwater. Burial with military honors will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery located at 32053 W. McCabe Road in Santa Nella, CA.   www.cvobituaries.com
