Erbstoesser, Gary R.Gary R. Erbstoesser, 63, of Van Dyne, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee after a hard fought battle with liver disease. Gary was born on November 11, 1953 in Sheboygan to Allan and Charlotte (Goebel) Erbstoesser. After his graduation from Sheboygan North High School in 1972, Gary joined the US Navy. He then went on to graduate from UW Milwaukee with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1992. Gary worked as an O.T. for Winnebago Mental Health Institute for 20 years. Gary's loves included: his family, bow hunting, fishing trips to the Boundary Waters, puttering outdoors from dawn to dusk, cutting his 3 acre lawn, bow hunting, baking bread, brownies, and grandma's torte, music, encouraging his children to pursue their passions, attending all of their sporting and extra- curricular events, Packer and Badger games, vacationing and camping with family, and more bow hunting.He is survived by his wife, Terry (Berchem) Erbstoesser of Van Dyne; his children, Matthew (Daniela) of San Diego, Calif., Holly (fiancé Mike Huth) and Joe of Van Dyne. He is also survived by his mother, Charlotte Erbstoesser of Sheboygan; his brother, Mark (Mary) Erbstoesser of Kiel, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Visitation for Gary will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Funeral service will begin at 6:30 PM with Pastor Kelly Leary of Trinity Lutheran Church, Oshkosh officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
