It is with great sadness, yet great hope, the family of Garrett Brown announces his passing on Friday, August 24, 2018, in his 20th year.

Loved son of James Brown and Jeannette Brown, loving brother and best friend of Mary Blaise, and the proudest uncle of Eleanora Blaise. Survived, cherished and forever remembered by his Memaw, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

His smile was infectious, humor unmatched and selflessness so evident. Garrett was a pure man of integrity and God-fearing faith. One of his greatest passions was his service to the Navy. He enlisted in 2016 after graduating from La Vega High School in Waco, Texas. After Training in Pensacola, Florida he ended up in Ft. Meade, Maryland where he continued his service to the Nation. He was a protector, provider, nurturer and a teacher through and through. Most of all, he didn’t want to make a name for himself, but rather point every single life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
