Kistenmacher, Fritz DanielFritz Daniel Kistenmacher, age 78, of Sheboygan, died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home on March 16, 2017. Fritz was born on November 17, 1938 in Schwerin, Germany to the late Fritz and Anna Kistenmacher. Fritz went to school in Germany through 8th grade and completed his apprenticeship program following school. Fritz moved from Germany to Sheboygan, WI with his mother in 1956. He joined the Army and served in Korea from 1963-1964 where he also acquired his GED. Fritz was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Schuster Chavez on April 22, 1985. Fritz worked for Strains Decorating and then Hohmann. Fritz was an avid golfer and called Town and Country his home course. He loved his golf buddies and they can attest to his 2 hole-in-one shots. He enjoyed the travels he took with his wife to Germany, France and around the United States. Fritz's step-family, who he loved as his own, was most important to him. He especially loved reading to his step grandchildren and step great-grandson.Fritz is survived by his loving wife, Mary Margaret; three step children, Justin (Angie) Chavez, Chad Chavez and Charlotte (Llyod) Chavez Lewin; step grandchildren, Amanda Chavez, Aliza Chavez and Makayla Chavez Lewin and one great grandson, Chandler Chavez; step sister, Joan Hildebrand; step brother-in-law, Glenn Hildebrand; brothers-in-law, James (Julie) Schuster of Darboy, WI, Dennis (Phyllis) Schuster of Dyckesville, John (Sandra) Schuster of Greenleaf, Robert Schuster of Bend, Oregon as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Martin Kistenmacher, of Germany.He is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Harold and Verna Schuster; brother, Rudi and brother-in-law, David (Jenni) Schuster.There will be a memorial fund established in his name.
