Felbab, Fredric T. "Fred"Fredric T. "Fred" Felbab, age 78, "The Legend", as friends and family knew him, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born on June 20, 1938 in Racine a son of the late Marshal G. and Betty J. (Stensrud) Felbab. Fred married Barbara J. Griedl on January 11, 2001. He was a journeyman plumber by trade and had worked for and retired from Berlin Memorial Hospital in 2002. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and was a member of Wis. Bear Hunters Assoc., Berlin Conservation Club and Coon Hunters Club, the Wis Bow Hunters Assoc. Fred was a past member of EAA having flown and rebuilt his 1946 Aeronca aircraft "his dream". He built and flew two experimental aircraft. He will be remembered for his love of building things and repairing things that were challenging and he had just finished building an air boat. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. The legend is survived by and will be cherished by his wife Barbara of Omro; seven children, Rick (Sherry) Felbab, Cindy (Dean) Tenhaken, Scott (Julie) Felbab, Jane (Ed) Beiderwolf, Timothy (Jody) Felbab, Tammy (Doug) Goodrich, Emily (Ryan Hutchinson) Felbab; three step-children, Eric (Lori) Lenz, Krista Lenz, Kayla (Fiance Charles Ingles) Lenz. He is further survived by a brother, Lester (Hilda) Lenz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and many, many very dear friends. A celebration of his life will be held at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a number of memorial funds will be established in his name.
