Frederick William Fabian, Jr. East LansingFrederick William Fabian Jr., age 88, of East Lansing, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.  He was born on May 27, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan, graduated from East Lansing High School in 1948, and received a Journalism degree from Michigan State University in 1952.  Fred was an account manager for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance in the mid-Michigan area for 28 years, and was also active in real estate and property management in the greater Lansing area.  Fred was a long-time member of the East Lansing Kiwanis Club, and enjoyed travelling and summers with his family at Higgins Lake.Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Annette Fabian, and his brother John Robert Fabian.He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; sister, Margaret (Robert) Metzger; sons, Frederick William III (Suzanne Jones) and Jeffrey Charles (Mara Hefferly); daughter, Denise (Robert) Campbell; and eight grandchildren, Stephen Fabian, Thomas Fabian, Katharine Fabian, Sarah Fabian, Kenneth Campbell, Jessica Campbell, Margaret Campbell, and F. Scott Campbell.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in East Lansing, Michigan.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sparrow Foundation Behaviorial Health Fund. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel.
