Freda F. Fee Fletcher, currently living in Cullman, Alabama, died on December 17, 2016, from complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was born on December 20, 1928 in Jonesville, Virginia. She graduated from Flatwoods High School in Jonesville and was very active in sports and dramas. She married Paschel Fletcher, of Rose Hill, Virginia on December 20, 1947. They spent most of their 56 years of marriage in Millersville, Maryland. After joining Weems Creek Baptist Church in Annapolis in 1962, she became very involved in Christmas plays, Easter pageants, and served on the Greeting Committee. Freda retired from Nationwide Insurance Company in Annapolis, Maryland. She loved vegetable and flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Almeda and G.W. Fee; brothers, Carl, Jack, Cleo and June; sister, Julia Parke; and husband Paschel Fletcher. She is survived by two daughters: Wanda and husband Terence Bays; and Deborah and husband Daniel Thompson; grandchildren Sean Thompson and Meghan Thompson O'Boyle; and six great grandchildren. The viewing will be at Robinette Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Virginia, on Thursday December 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with a Memorial Service afterwards, at 12:00p.m. Grave site service will immediately follow at Botner Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her desire was for donations to be made to Weems Creek Baptist Church, 600 N Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD, 21401.
