Harlingen - Francisco Garcia, 95, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. He was born on September 17, 1921 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Juan Garcia & Maria Garcia. Francisco was a hard working family man who worked at Calvary Christian School for over forty years. He attended church every Sunday and enjoyed doing yard work. He is preceded in death by his parents; by his brother, Reyes Garcia; by his sisters, Juanita Garcia and Eusedina Martinez. Francisco is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, Josefina Garcia; children Enrique (Christina) Garcia; Esequiel (Mary) Garcia; Ernesto (Julie) Garcia; Valerio (Mary) Rivera; Raul Hernandez; Juanita (Arnulfo) Morin; and Minerva (Rick) Chapa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held today December 13, 2016, from 2 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel. Visitation will also continue on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 9 am to 11 am at Abundant Life Church. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11 am at Abundant Life Church. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria,Texas.Honored to be pallbearers will be Steve Garcia, Esequiel Garcia, Jr., Frank Garcia, Eloy Garcia, Raul Hernandez, Jr., and Reynaldo Hernandez.
