Frances Joyce Bahler82, passed away on April 16, 2017 at Mulberry Healthcare.Frances was born on January 27, 1935 to Joseph and Celia (Danner) Stoller in Wolcott, IN. On February 6, 1955 she was married to Alfred Bahler and they celebrated 59 years together before he passed away on June 27, 2014.For most of her life she was a farm wife but for over 20 years she was employed as a cook for the Tri-County School Corporation and thoroughly enjoyed being around students. She also worked part time for Payless Supermarkets in the Bakery Department in West Lafayette. A great cook, she enjoyed providing her family and friends with cupcakes, cookies, and pies along with dozens of Christmas cookies she lovingly decorated every year. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Wolcott for nearly 65 years.Surviving are her children; Steve (Brenda) Bahler of Lebanon, Luann (Bob) Gerber, Chris (Teresa) Bahler, and Jake (Friend Holly) Bahler and a daughter in law Elaine Bahler, all of Wolcott. In addition there are 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; Also surviving are two sisters, Phyllis Baird of Indianapolis and Beverly Blume of West Lafayette; and two brothers, Richard (Viola) Stoller of Wolcott and Larry (Judy) Stoller of North Port, FL.She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; sister Norma Blume; brothers Ervin (Bud) Stoller and Danny Stoller; brother in laws, Kenneth Baird, Donald Blume, and Glenn Blume.Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Remington Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Church of Wolcott. Ministers of the Church to officiate. Interment to follow at the Wolcott Cemetery.Memorials may be made in Frances' name to the Wolcott Apostolic Christian Church, Wolcott Ambulance Service, or the Tri-County Educational Foundation.Share memories and condolences online at
