Frances Diamond passed away suddenly on Monday, March 1, 2010. She was born on March 30, 1936 in Everett, Washington to Albert and Laura Canary. Fran was always so proud of the fact that she was a direct descendant of Martha Jane Burke Canary, better known as Calamity Jane. Fran was an amazing woman who endeared herself to everyone she met. Her whole life was centered around the giving of herself to others. She was happiest when she was gardening, going to swap meets and garage sales. Loving her two prized Westies Annie and Duffy were also a great pleasure to her. Fran and her husband John enjoyed an action filled 36 years of marriage. Sail boats, motorhomes, sports cars- they did it all. Their deep love for each other was obvious to all who knew them.Fran is survived by her husband John; her sister, Beverly Jean (Willie) Nelson; her brother Lee Canary; her children, Shelley Holm, Kevin (Raeleen) Tillett, Diane Tillett, Karen (Todd) Lubach, Jason Tillett, Dawn Diamond, Mark (Sheri) Diamond and Michael Diamond; as well as 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Laura Canary and daughter Nina Diamond Bovard. Memorial service will be at the Sunset Vista Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 4:00p.m. Heaven has a new angel.
