Floyd Griffin Floyd "Picon" Griffin, born on Dec. 4, 1964, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died on Tues., June, 19, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thurs. June, 21, 2012 from 5 til 10 pm at the Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. He is survived by his son, Joey Basulito, daughter Ashley Melacon, 9 biological siblings, and 7 half-siblings, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eloise Clement Griffin and Alida Farve Griffin. He was a devoted shrimper, who loved trawling and had a great sense of humor. He was a very devoted family man. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to offset funeral. Samart-Moth Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements
