Faye Rowland Taylor Fuquay-Varina Faye Rowland Taylor passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 10th, 2016 with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10005 Lake Wheeler Road, Fuquay-Varina. Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 pm at the church, prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Faye was born on the family farm in Fuquay on November 1st, 1936 to Jack Bramlette and Zelma Ausley Rowland. She graduated from Fuquay-Varina High School and attended Hardbarger Business School in Raleigh, NC. Later in life she returned to North Carolina State University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor Degree in Communications in 1994. She worked for IBM for several years before managing her husband's dental practice, but was always, first and foremost, a Mom. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald Wayne Taylor; sister, Ruth Ann Kilpatrick; and brother, Kenneth Gordon Rowland. Faye is survived by her daughter, Robin Morris (Thomas) of Fuquay-Varina; son, Mark Taylor (Christie) of Fuquay-Varina; granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Samantha and Abigail; and sister, Linda Rowland of Raleigh. Her family offers special thanks to all those who contributed to the quality of her life over the past few years, especially Renee, Brenda and Dana with CenterPeace home health, Judith, Cecilia and Marcia, nurses at Universal Health Care in Fuquay-Varina and all the staff at Transitions LifeCare (formerly Hospice of Wake County).
