Brown, FaithFaith A. Brown, 89, of Schofield, passed away at Rennes Health & Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was born on February 17th, 1927 to the late Icabod and Mary Albee in Schofield. She married the love of her life, the late Frank Brown, on October 26th 1946. They were married for 44 years.Faith was a woman of many talents and even sang in a band in high school. She and Frank were longtime members of New Hope Community Church. Together, they enjoyed the outdoors as long as Frank was able to. After he had passed, Faith continued to hunt and even shot her own buck. She also loved to tend to her garden. Faith was an award winner of the Pine Tree Quilters and enjoyed volunteering her time at the talent shop for 20 years. Faith is survived by her children, Candace Marie Gottschalk, Texas; Kyle Elizabeth (Ernest) King, Wausau; Christine Ann Aufdermauer (Special Friend, Todd Barlament), Sturgeon Bay; Jeffrey Scott Icabod Brown, Tripoli; brother Frank (Mary) Albee; sisters Patricia Kraucyk and Artus Plaza; grandchildren Jeremy, Jason, Kitty, Kim, Sarah Aufdermauer, Adam (Amanda) Aufdermauer and their children Xenia and Ella, Dennis (Jill) Allard and their son Michael, Jon and his children Avery and Austin and their mother, Tara, Jenny (Steve) Pagel and their children Zach and Alex, and Joseph (Amanda) King and their daughter Lily Faith; and her special group of cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother James Albee, sister Joy Wendt, John Kraucyk and David Plaza.A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 21st 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Community Church, E1045 S County Road J, Wausau 54403. The Rev. Dan Jelsma will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
