Evelyn Louise Whitecar OliverCedar City, UtahEvelyn Louise Whitecar Oliver, age 85, passed away on April 24, 2017 at her home in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on July 10, 1931 in Pasadena, California to Horace Giles Whitecar and Evalyne Mae Farris Whitecar. She married Kenneth Arthur Oliver on March 25th, 1950.Evelyn spent her childhood in southern California. She was a loving wife, exceptional mother and grandma. She had a welcoming home and was an amazing cook, she's known for her chocolate cake. Evelyn served in many callings in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved camping and fishing; she was in Woman's bowling league; enjoys gardening.She is survived by son Kenneth Glen Oliver, son Gary Wayne Oliver, daughter Diane Elizabeth Canfield, and son Mark Lee Oliver, 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by daughter Cheryl Lynn Oliver and husband Kenneth Arthur Oliver. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Park Chapel (290 W. 1045 N.) A viewing will be held prior to the services on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 11:30-12:30 pm at the Church.
