Graveside services for Evelyn Hays, 95, of Plainview will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, in Plainview Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Brock officiating. Evelyn passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, in Plainview. She was born on Jan. 30, 1921, in Missouri to C.T. and Edna Fay Metcalf. She married Harvey "H.D." Hays on Aug. 5, 1939, in Childress, Texas. She is survived by one son, Tommy Hays and wife June of Plainview and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons and both parents. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
