Beine, EvelynEvelyn Beine, 89, Bevent, died on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg under the care of Ministry Hospice. She was born on July 19, 1927 in Bevent, the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Charneski) Swedowski. On December 1, 1951, Evelyn was united in marriage to Andrew T. Beine Jr. in Milwaukee. He survives.She worked for 2 years for Motorola, Chicago, and 9 years at Briggs and Stratton, Milwaukee. The couple then farmed in Bevent from 1956-1969 before owning and operating Andy's Grocery also in Bevent. She was an active member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent, and it's Rosary Society. The couple took care of the church grounds and helped with just about anything that needed to be done. Evelyn also helped with many fundraisers and projects with the Bevent Lions Club. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and cooking for her family and friends. Evelyn loved polkas, especially Molly B. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Andrew T. Beine Jr., Hatley; two sons, Glenn (Sue) Beine, Wisconsin Rapids, and Gene (Marge) Beine, Hatley; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Edwin (Cim) Swedowski, Stevens Point; and sister Marian Swedowski, Milwaukee.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Suzanne Beine.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9AM until the time of Mass at the church.
