Eva "Elaine" Owens passed away on March 6, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus County. She was born on December 20, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Hotrum and J.C. Myles and grandson, Caleb Nichols. She is survived by her children, Clarence Blalock(Tracy), St. Augustine, FL; Eddie Rose(Karin), Mills River, NC; Kitty Gamble Owens, Crystal River, FL; Willie Gamble, Jr., Keisha Belcastro, Inverness, FL; grandchildren, Ashley and Arron Owens, Crystal River, FL; Trytten Gamble, Inverness, FL; Brysen Leffew, Homosassa, FL; Sidney Blalock, St. Augustine, FL; step-mom, Mary Myles, Mt. Dora, FL; siblings, Lisa Hall(Harry), Seffner, FL; Cathy Plaster, Bushnell, FL; John Myles, Jr.(Lisa), Silver Springs, FL; Melinda Redd(Ronn), Mt. Dora, FL; Melissa Howard, Apopka, FL; nephews, Jake Kelly, Zak Plaster; niece, Kelsey Plaster.Elaine will be remembered for being a mom, nan, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many during her lifetime. She always had an open door and an open heart no matter who you were or what you needed. Elaine was loved and will be missed by many.A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Crystal River, 700 N Citrus Ave, Crystal River, FL from 12:00-3:00 pm.
