Eva B. Beppler, 94, of Susquehanna and formerly of Montrose, passed away at Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing Unit, Susquehanna, on December 7, 2016. She was born on March 25, 1922 in Dimock Twp., to the late William and Hazel A. (Myers) Bell.Surviving are her two nieces, Eleanor Kurosky, Montrose, and Ruth Vandermark, Dimock; great niece, Cheryl Kurosky, Apalachin, N.Y.; great nephew, Wayne Vandermark, Dimock.Eva was predeceased by her husband, Donald Beppler; son, Thomas Kelch; and two sisters, Margaret Petersen and Mary Magee.She was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Church. She worked for 30 years as a traffic operator for the Commonwealth Telephone Company, and five years as a supervisor in Dallas, Pa.A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Holy Name of Mary Church, with Rev. Phillip S. Rayappan officiating. Interment will be in the Montrose Cemetery. Friends called on the family prior to the service at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home.
