Minister Eugene Miller III was born May 17, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA to Linda A. Miller and the late Eugene Miller Jr. Eugene entered into internal rest on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home in Chapel Hill, NC in the company of his wife. Eugene received his education in the Philadelphia School District, including John Bartram High School. Eugene met Janice Bowman in high school and raised their son Dante D. Miller. Eugene met Loretha Green in Philadelphia, PA in 1998 and they raised two beautiful daughters, Portia Green and Kyndra Green-Miller. They moved to North Carolina in 2005 and were married in 2016. Eugene joined Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church after relocating to Oxford, NC and remained a member until his passing. He was a member of the Mass Gospel Youth Choir and the Male Chorus. On February 21st, he received his Certification in Gospel Ministry under the Pastorialship of the late Pastor Emeritus and Reverend Dr. Mack Timberlake Sr. Minister Eugene had a great passion for cooking and loved to see the satisfaction and enjoyment of those who partake of his cuisine. He was a Chef at various high end restaurants in Philadelphia, PA and Chapel Hill, NC. He was also a cook at Estes Hills Elementary School. He leaves to mourn his wife Loretha R. Miller, Chapel Hill, NC; his mother Linda A. Miller, Philadelphia, PA; one son Dante D. Miller, Philadelphia, PA; two daughters Portia S. Green and Kyndra Green-Miller; two grandchildren Laila Grace Miller and Dante Miller Jr, Philadelphia, PA; one brother Larris D. Miller, Scranton, PA; one sister-in-law Sharon P. Green, Chapel Hill, NC; one brother-in-law Alonzo Green (Heather), Lancaster, PA; AUNTS: Marie Simpson (Stan), Philadelphia, PA; Beverly Bright, Los Angeles; Victoria Hayes and Camella Miller, Philadelphia, PA; Loren Pernell (Sharon) Glen Burnie, MD; Richard Bright (Carol) Ardmore, PA; Fred Bright (Ann) Thailand; Andre Bright (Dion), Sharon Hill, PA; COUSINS: Gregory Bright, Edward Miller, Marvin Miller, Sharon Miller ... a host of nieces, nephews and friends and one very dear friend to the end....Janice F.
