Albrecht, Eugene EdwardEugene Edward Albrecht, age 77, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. He was born on March 19, 1939, in Sheboygan, son of the late Louis and Anita (Roehrborn) Albrecht.He attended Sheboygan Central High School, graduating in 1958. He served on active duty with the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962 and in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1974 to 1987. He was married to Patricia (Herber) Lohse in 1963. During his working years, he was employed by a number of companies in Sheboygan, most recently working at Borden Chemical Company from 1966 until his retirement in 1994. Eugene is survived by his children, Du Wayne of Byron, Georgia, Jeffrey, and Brenda (Michael) Dillman, both of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Shayne (Karli) Albrecht, Sydney Albrecht, Amanda (Joshua) Graminske, Shannon Albrecht, and Skyler Albrecht; siblings, Irene Yurk, Louis Albrecht, Harriet (James) Tershner and Robert (Janis) Albrecht. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anita Roehrborn; and sister-in-law, Isabel (Gonzalvo) Albrecht.A private family ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, Sheboygan Progressive Care Center, Dr. Curtis Hancock and Aurora at Home for the comfort and care given to Eugene in his final days.Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
