"Kitty"South Jordan, Utah-We have angels walking on the earth impersonating as humans. One of these angels went home to our Heavenly Father. Eufemia, known as Femi to all that knew her, passed away on December 16, 2016, of cancer. Femi was born on the 23rd of March, 1941, in Espanola, New Mexico. She was born to Rosabell and Belarmino Jaramillo. Femi graduated from the University of Utah in Psychology, Social Work and Education. She was a polio survivor, cancer survivor and succumbed to her second bout with cancer. Femi was a lifelong teacher who taught many children to read and do math. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Ron Masserant, and her first husband, Dave Payton. Daughters; Jo Payton and BJ (Mike) Lopez. Sister, Alice (Israel) Martin. Brother, Bill (Teresa) Jaramillo. Granddaughters; Bri Griffin, Shaylynn Payton, Jaydyn Payton, Haylee Valdez and Olivia Valdez. And her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joe. Funeral Services will he held at 11:30, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at McDougal Funeral Home Chapel, 4330 South Redwood Road.
