Etta Mae JohnsonWilliamsport - Etta Mae (Morgan) Johnson, 84, Williamsport, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, at 8:20 a.m. in the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Williamsport, IN.Etta Mae was born on the family farm near Independence, Indiana, on April 14, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Nellie Zoe (King) Morgan. She was a life resident of Williamsport, graduating from Williamsport High School in 1948. Following her graduation from high school, Etta Mae was appointed Deputy Treasurer of Warren County. She later worked for John DeMotte (now Warren Agency). She worked at Held Abstract and retired from Warren County Federal Savings (now Main Source Bank) after 29 years of service. Etta Mae married Dick A. Johnson on September 30, 1949 in Williamsport. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2004. Following retirement, Etta Mae and Dick enjoyed wintering in Okeechobee and Sebring, Florida for 13 winters.Etta Mae was a long time member of the Williamsport Christian Church. She enjoyed playing cards and attending the Williamsport Senior Center where she liked to play Bingo.Etta Mae leaves behind her two sons, Gary D. and David L. (Lisa) Johnson, both of Williamsport; a grandson, Trevor Johnson, Williamsport; a brother, Everett (Hazel) Morgan, Attica; a sister, Helen Louise (the late-Jerry) Gross, Lafayette; two sisters-in-law, Joan Morgan, Attica and Marie (the late Everett) Agan, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Morgan.Friends will be received at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, December 8th, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Following the visitation, a gravesite service will be held at the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Don Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the MAC Van. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Condolences may be sent online to
