Esther Reyes AguilarSanta Paula, CAEsther Aguilar passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017 in Ventura, CA. she was born on May 9, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the parents of Leopoldo and Maria Ramos. Her family relocated to California in June of 1965 with 9 of her siblings packed up in her fathers Ford pickup truck and settled in the citrus groves within the city limits of Santa Paula, California. Esther received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age attending church services in Texas and continued to seek the Lord while moving to California.A saying, "What ever you do, do it unto the Lord, and do the best you can for Jesus" was something that stayed within Esther for the rest of her life. This saying began her legacy of faith and service left to each one of her six children, seven grand children and 9 great grandchildren. Esther Aguilar found the love of her life, Fidencio Aguilar in the year of 1987. Together the two have shared a wonderful friendship and marriage for over 30 years. Esther worked as a CNA at the Twin Pines retirement home in Santa Paula and continued working within the medical field as an Emergency Room medical clerk for the last 29 years of employment. She retired from Ventura County Medical Center in September of 2012. Many of her hobbies were crocheting, sewing, knitting, drawing, singing and cooking large amounts of food for friends and family. She enjoyed getting into the car and driving out to Ojai, Ventura Marina Park and going to the movies with Fidencio, the love of her life.Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children, Mark (Theresa), David, Christina, Frances (Jesse), Jesse and Robert (Alyssa).Visitation will be held from 3pm-9pm, on Friday March 24, 2017 at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church 1029 E. Santa Paula St, Santa Paula, followed with a Prayer Service at 7pm also at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11:00am at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church 1029 E.
