(Reimold) Mercado, 70, died Friday, January 15, 2016, at Manor Care North.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Nathan L. Shaffer of Shiloh God's Missionary Church officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Church Cemetery, Red Lion.Esther was born on March 8, 1945, and was a daughter of the late Paul C. and Lillian V. (Bahn) Reimold.She was self-employed as a caregiver and did house cleaning for many years. Prior to that, she had worked at the former Charles G. Summers Canning Company in New Freedom. She leaves a son, Ivan Mercado and his wife Melinda of York; a granddaughter, Savanna Mercado; two sisters, Mary L. Pifer of New Oxford and Leah V. Sterner of Hanover; and two brothers, Paul C. Reimold, Jr. of York and Samuel C. Reimold of Stewartstown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
