Esther Lois Leete, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on November 28, 2016 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on August 1, 1938 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Howard and Edith (Pratt) Larkin. She is survived by her husband, George W. Leete; her sister, Lillan & Lawrence Smith of Florence, AZ; children, Kathy & Ric Housel of Anahiem Hills, CA, Cheryl Talayka of Tularosa, NM, Paul & Teresa Healy of Tularosa, NM, Mark Healy & John Lesperance of Alamogordo, NM, Tonia & David Waymire of Stevenson, WA, and Aaron Leete of Chaparral, NM; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mathew J. Healy; her mother, Edith E. Larkin; her father, Arthur Murrell and her step-father, Howard Larkin. The memorial service will be held on December 9, 2016 at 10:00am at the LDS Church located at 1800 23rd Street, Alamogordo, NM. There will be no graveside service. The Leete family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services. Cremation will take place at PCS.
