Esther M. BennettSpring GroveEsther M. (Painter) Bennett, 78, passed away on March 5, 2017 at Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of William E. Bennett; together they shared 49 years of marriage. Esther was born on December 8, 1935 in Three Springs, PA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Davidson) Painter. She graduated from Three Springs High School Class of 1952. She then went on to be a beautician for many years before working for AMP in Sven Valleys and then retiring in 1990. In addition to her husband, Esther is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. Kifer and husband, Jeff of Williamsburg; her son William T. Bennett and wife, Corinda of Thomasville; and her four grandchildren, Kristy, Kayla, Alexa, and Dillon. She was also survived by her three brothers, Andy Painter, Donald Painter, and Ed Painter; and her sister, Vera Baily.
