She departed this life on Saturday, December 13, 2014.Estela is survived by her long life companion, Rutilo Garcia; children, Jerry Canastillo (Synthia), Sergio Canastillo (Erikka), and Hector Gomez (Juanita); brother, Jesus Gomez; sister, Evangelina Gomez; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Catalina Gomez; and brother, Guillermo Gomez.A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Ave. Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Guadalupe Church with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial.
