Schilke, Ervin W.Ervin "Erv" Schilke, age 70, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born on August 29, 1947, in Green Bay to the late Ervin and Harriet (Sconzert) Schilke. After growing up in the Pulaski and Seymour areas, he served with the US Army in the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic for the Neenah Foundry Company, where he worked for 49 years until his retirement last month. Erv enjoyed sports, especially football and racing, and had a fondness for old cars. He loved spending time with his family and summers up north.Erv is survived by his wife Dar, children Brett of Mountain View, CA and Tad of Appleton, brothers Gale (Karen) Schilke and Michael Schilke, and sisters Jean (Frank) Becher, Karla Linsmeyer, and Lynn (Dave) Luebke. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and a grandpuppy who will sorely miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger Schilke.Private services will be held for Ervin's family.
