Ernest James McCurry was born in Detroit, Michigan, Wayne County December 15, 1930.  He was the only child born to the late James & Elizabeth McCurry.  God called him home to be with on March 5, 2019 at the age of 88.  Ernest was employed by Ford Motor Company as foreman for 45 years.  After retirement he served on the Board of Directors.  In 1950 he married the lovely Jessica Adams McCurry, who preceeded him in death.  Ernest wa a loving father and is survived by his daughter Ernestine McCurry, grandson Aaron McCurry, granddaughter Shaniyah McCurry and great grandson Aaron McCurry Jr.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
