Enid K. WaltersApril 16, 1924 - March 26, 2015Enid K. Walters, 90 of Queen Creek, AZ passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015.Enid was born on April 16, 1924 in Logan, Utah the daughter of Edwin Munk and Winifred Victoria Bradbury Smith. She graduated from Soda Springs High School. She played baseball and basketball. She was captain of her basketball team.She married Harriman K. Hale on October 30, 1947 who passed away on May 2, 1960. She married Herbert G. Walters on June 27, 1966, who passed away on August 25, 1999.She worked at Intermountain Gas Company from 1960 until 1983 when she retired. She lived in Soda Springs until 1992 when she moved to Boise. In December 2012 she started living with Marilyn in AZ for the winter months and Marlene in Boise in the summer months. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her family and church were the most important things to her.Enid is survived by her daughters Marilyn (Stephen) Coyle of Queen Creek, AZ and Marlene Hale of Boise, ID and son Rickey Hale of Lava Hot Springs, ID and 11 grandchildren Stephen, Bobbi Lynne, Shane, Kristen, Raschelle, Rickey, Kristopher, Angie, Misty, Kacey and Alyssa and 12 great grandchildren Ali, McKay, Brywn, Dania, Taylen, Karden, Brodee, Leeona, Seth, Jack, Quort and Oakley. She is also survived by Brother Vaughn (Deon) Smith and Sisters Arnetta Sibbett and Cheryl Drier of Pocatello, ID and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband's Harriman Hale and Herbert Walters, her mother Winifred B. Smith and father Edwin M. Smith and step mother Veneta R Smith. Brothers Edwin B Smith, Jerry R Smith and Sisters Emma Jean Lakey and Veloy Smith. Enid loved gardening, reading, sightseeing and her family. She attended every baseball, basketball and football game for not only her children and grandchildren but her great grandchildren.Services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 1 pm at the Hooper LDS Chapel in Soda Springs. Family will visit friends at the church prior to service from 10:30 to 12:30. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.Condolences may be shared online at www.simsfh.com
