Barela, 83, a longtime resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015, in Cleveland.She was born on Nov. 26, 1931, in Cleveland to Ramon Romero and Senaida Martinez Romero.A Catholic, she was a member of St. Gertrude Church in Mora.She was preceded in death by her sons: Alfred, Eddie and Roy; husband: Ramon Barela; parents; Ramon and Senaida Romero; siblings: Florito Martinez and Jose Lucero.She is survived by her daughters: Linda Romero of Las Vegas, Gloria Barnson and husband Bryant of Ruth, Nevada; son: Ernest Barela of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Rosary services will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Friday at St. Gertrude Church in Mora. Funeral services will be held immediately following the Rosary with Father Dennis Dolter, SOLT as celebrant.
