Sandoval, Emagene I.Emagene Idell Sandoval passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday November 27, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ray and Carmen Gloria Diaz. Emagene was born on January 21, 1948 in Manhattan, New York.Emagene worked for the Housing Department for the City of Danbury for over 25 years. Emagene loved to dance, help people and she was a selfless person to anyone whom she came across. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She also loved to be at the beach as much as she could during the summer. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 43 years Wilfredo Sandoval of Danbury. She is survived by her three daughters Tanisha, Kaity and Rena Sandoval of Danbury. Two sisters Susan Diaz and Virginia Acevedo. As well as nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Emagene is predeceased by two sisters and one brother. A life celebration gathering will be held Thursday December 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT) followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to in her memory.
