Elsie Rayzor FordDENTON -- Elsie Rayzor Ford, 92, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11,2016 in Corinth.Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Pilot Point Community Cemetery, Pilot Point, Texas. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Asbury United Methodist Church, 2908 Layton Ave, Haltom City, Texas 76117, or the .Elsie was born on Oct. 28, 1924 in Mountain Springs. She attended school in Union Grove and graduated from Pilot Point High School in May, 1942. She was a long time resident of Haltom City, and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church since 1959. She married A.D. Ford on April 15, 1944 in Denton. She was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker who later worked for 12 years at Stripling Cox prior to her retirement. She had a servant's heart, dedicating many hours to her church and its mission shop. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie H. Rayzor and Myrtle Ina Davis Rayzor; her loving husband of 55 years, A.D. Ford; brothers Frank Rayzor, Bud Rayzor, Bill Rayzor; and sisters, Lola Marshall, Leatha Gibbs, Ollie Boyer and Ila Fay Taylor.The family would like to give special thanks to her niece and long time caregiver, Jane Hamon.Survivors: Her daughter, Ann Ford Daniel and husband, Jim Daniel, of Denton; her granddaughter, Jamie Daniel Winter and husband, Roy Maxwell Winter, of Little Elm; her brother, Jesse H. Rayzor, Jr. of Pilot Point; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
