Elsie M. Pitcher, age 96, of Greenbush passed away April 14, 2013 at The Springs of Lady Lake, Lady Lake, Fla. She was born on March 39, 1917 in Easton, Minn. to Peter and Nora O'Leary.Elsie is survived by three daughters, Jeanne (Bill) Crocker of The Villages, Fla., Aileen Kunitz of Chester, N.Y. and Karen (Mike) Pigott of The Villages, Fla.; along with seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Johnson of Wells, Minn.She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Pitcher; and five sisters and three brothers. Born in Minnesota, Elsie spent most of her life in the Detroit area, raising her family and working as a seamstress and manager of Orcher's Bridal Shop. In 1972, with her husband, George, she retired to Greenbush where she had a happy and fulfilling life surrounded by many friends. She was known for her generous spirit and helping nature. She was a talented seamstress, a wonderful cook and she loved playing cards.The family will have a memorial service at St. Anne Church in Harrisville on Saturday, May 25. Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. and Memorial Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m.
