Schiesser, ElmerElmer Schiesser, 92, Algoma, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 in Green Bay. He was born on October 26, 1923 in Algoma to the late Fred and Frieda (Stuebs) Schiesser. Elmer and Fred sawed lumber for Plumbers Woodwork in Algoma from 1946 to 1948. He helped on his parents dairy farm. Elmer married Helen Wilke on June 9, 1951 in Forestville. They took over the dairy farm in Kodan in 1951. He did custom threshing, silo filling, chopping straw, and combining for other farmers. Helen preceded Elmer in death, August 4, 2012. Elmer is survived by his daughter Darlene, and two sons James and Dale, all of Algoma; one sister-in-law Ruth Burmeister and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Emil and Anna Wilke, one brother Marvin Schiesser, one sister Arvilla Harmann, in-laws Harold Harmann, Marie Schiesser, Leonard Wilke, Victor and Verna Laurent, Harold Burmeister and Marvin and Barbara Wilke.Family and friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 from 10 AM until the time of services at 1 PM, with Rev.
