Swintosky, EleanorEleanor Swintosky, age 99 of Kewaunee died on Monday, March 1, 2017 at Emerald Shores Assisted Living. She was born on December, 11, 1917 in West Kewaunee to the late Peter and Catherine (Muchowski) Ratajczak.She married Emil Swintosky on May 18, 1937 at St. Hedwig Church in East Krok. He preceded her in death February 11, 1993.Emil and Eleanor operated the Swintosky farm until their retirement in 1979. She was a lifelong member of St. Hedwig Parish and the Rosary Society.Eleanor graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1936.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Darlene Swintosky, Kewaunee; two granddaughters: Patty and Michael Leist, Algoma; Connie and Paul Secker, Green Bay; two great grandsons: Aaron and (special friend, Kelly) Leist, Austin, TX; Kyle and Jennifer Leist, Iowa. She was preceded in death by one sister: Florence (Carl) Zartler; four brothers: Raymond, Sylvester, Leo; Frank Ratajczak and a brother-in-law: Joe Swintosky.Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8 at St. Hedwig Church, East Krok until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury.
