Russell, Eleanor J.Eleanor J. Russell, 91, of Booth, AL, passed away Friday March 17, 2017. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday March 19 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel followed by her funeral service at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with pastors Greg Dupree and William Moseley officiating. Burial will follow in Booth Cemetery. Mrs. Russel was born on October 28, 1925 in Autauga County to the late Jadie L. Chavers and Myrtle Carter Chavers. She was a dedicated daily bible reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She made daily trips to Prattville and visited the Smith Center where she regularly played bingo. She loved to walk and would often treat her grandchildren to an afternoon at Pratt Park. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Tommy Golson and Ray Russell; and a grandson, Jason Gentry. She is survived by three son's and daughters in law, Tom and Orelynn Golson, Steve and Janie Golson, Sammy and Barbara Russell; two daughters and sons in law, Ann and Vasser Caver, Marilyn and Anthony Price; a sister, Catherine Crowe; a brother and sister in law, Bob and Wilma Chavers and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Billy Caver, Ray Caver, Robin Caver, Buddy Golson, Rusty Golson, Tony Golson, Glenn Golson and Neal Russell.
