Elaine L. Eccless, 92Clearwater, MNDec. 27, 1923 - Dec. 24, 2016Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Silver Creek Immanuel Lutheran Church in Silver Creek, MN for Elaine Lillian Eccless, age 92 of Clearwater, MN who died on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home.  Pastor Tat Kenhorst will officiate.  Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Clearwater, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.  Services are with the Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater, MN.Elaine was born on December 27, 1923 at Silver Creek, MN, the daughter of Charles and Helena (Repke) Post. She attended school in the area and graduated from Annandale High School.  She was united in marriage to William Eccless on September 2, 1944 at the Silver Creek Immanuel Lutheran Church at Silver Creek.  They then farmed south of Clearwater.  After Mr. Eccless died on November 22, 1986, Elaine continued to live on the farm.The most important things to Elaine were her family, her church, taking care of her flowers, and fishing occasionally with her husband.She was a life-long member of the Silver Creek Immanuel Lutheran Church and it's ladies aid group in Silver Creek, MN.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by; two brothers, Henry and Arthur Post; and two sisters, Adelaide Zoller and Helen Bruns.She is survived by her four children; Bonnie (Daniel) Paumen of Maple Lake, MN, Richard Eccless of Maple Lake, MN, David Eccless (Sue Schaapveld) of Clearwater, MN and Michelle Eccless of Minnetonka, MN; 11 grandchildren, Eric Paumen, Jennifer (Jacob) Brown, Seth (Renee) Paumen, Tyler Paumen (Amanda Constenius), William "Bill" Eccless, Todd (Jackie) Eccless, Heidi (Aaron) Scadden, Amidee (David) Roden, Christopher Eccless, Nikolaus (Natalie) Eccless and Kaylene (Jeff) Greninger, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
