Edward William Gick I77, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:13 p.m. at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Edward was born on April 3, 1939 in Benton County to the late Charles and Loretta (Weisenberger) Gick. He served in the Air Force before being honorably discharged. Edward married Henrietta J. Dobbels on November 23, 1967 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oxford, and she survives. He retired from Can Am Steel as a Semi-Mechanic. Surviving are 2 daughters, Tina L. Gick of Lafayette, Lisa J. (husband: Ron) Nehrig of Kirklin, IN, and 3 sons, Tazzma "George" A. (wife: Kerrie) Taflinger of Redding, CA, Edward W. (wife: Regina) Gick II of West Point, and David P. (wife: Janel) Gick of Lafayette. Also surviving are 4 sisters, 6 brothers, 22 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, and one great grandson, George A.
