Tlachac, EdwardAfter a courageous battle with cancer, Edward Tlachac, 81, Luxemburg, has joined our Lord. With his entire family at his side, Ed passed away on Saturday, Oct.15, 2016. He was born on February 26, 1935 to the late Edward and Jennie (Kinnard) Tlachac. He married Margie Daul on September 3th, 1956, and they just celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends. Ed started his career as a manager with Wisconsin Liquor and after a few years, drove a delivery truck for 25 years for them. He then was known as "Green Bean" owning his truck and working for Joe Boulanger Construction. Green Bean carried the first load of soil out of what is now known as Lake Largo, Green Bay. After 3 years, Ed was employed by the Village of Luxemburg, while at the same time, owned and operated Tlachac's Village Inn with Margie for 18 years. Ed joined the Luxemburg Community Fire Dept. as a volunteer fireman in 1959 and was appointed Fire Chief in 1991. Ed took tremendous pride in serving for 41 years. Most recently, Ed was honored with the first annual "L-C Football Fan of the Year" award, for 40+ years of sons and grandsons playing football. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dog "Poppy," going up to his cottage, watching all sports, and hunting the illusive huge white tail deer; though there was not much venison on the Tlachac table! Anybody who knew Ed, knew how much he truly enjoyed cutting his lawn and he took great pride in his lawn and landscaping. He also had one of the best decorated houses during the Christmas Holidays!Surviving Ed is the mother of his 6 children, Marjorie, son Rod (Claire) Tlachac, Luxemburg, their sons, Tyson (Katy Beth), Justin (Breanna); daughter Robin Tremel, Luxemburg, her daughters Arielle (fiancé Quinn Tenor) Olivia; son Randy (Patti) Tlachac, Arizona, their children Rebecca (Kee), Celeste, Jeremy; son Rick (Nancy) Tlachac, Green Bay, their children Eric (Laura), Lynessa, Matthew; son Ron (Kim) Tlachac, Luxemburg, their sons Travis (fiancé Janelle), Lucas, Austin; son Ross (Korina) Tlachac, Luxemburg, their children Mitchell (special friend Anna), Megan; 8 great grandchildren Braelynn, Jack, Natalie, Hailey, Lillian, Tyas, Ava, and Evelyn, and #9 due in March. Also survived by sisters, Veronica (Hamlin) Boucher, Rosemary (Roger) Beirl, brothers and sisters in law, Ken (Julain) Tlachac, and Allan (Donna) Tlachac, Myra Tlachac.
