PLEASANT LAKE — Edward D. Sholl, 73, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Parkview Regional Hospital Fort Wayne. Edward was born on September 23, 1941, in Hicksville, Ohio, to the late Harold and Beaulah (Hinsch) Sholl. He worked for CXS for 17 years as an engineer, retiring in 2001. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He helped the Steuben County 4-H for 10 years with the Horse and Pony Club. He was a member of the NBHA and won several awards for barrel racing. Edward enjoyed going out on the lake with his family. He was a member of the Angola American Legion Post 31. He married Connie E. (Elston) Sholl on June 14, 1997, at the Angola Presbyterian Church, and she survives in Pleasant Lake. Also surviving are three sons and a daughter, Kirk (Khristy) Sholl of Hicksville, Ohio, Brent Sholl of Hicksville, Ohio, Cody Sholl of Angola, and Tammy (Randy) Morgan of Sylacauga, Alabama; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard (Sandy) Sholl of Hamilton and Tom (Sandy) Sholl of Hicksville, Ohio. Memorial services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015, at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St., Angola, Indiana, with Pastor Russ Hepler of LaGrange officiating.
