Edward T. LoehnisPort HuronEdward T. Loehnis, 74, of Port Huron, passed away on January 25, 2017 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital after a short illness with his family by his side.He was born on September 22, 1942 in Detroit, son of the late Joseph and Mabelle Loehnis.Edward married Deanna Martin on October 23, 1959 in Ohio, she passed away on May 16, 2007.He was a truck driver and owner of a construction company for many years. Edward was an avid fisherman and a poker player. He had many special friends at the boardwalk and the family would like to thank them for their companionship that they provided Ed with.Edward is survived his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne (Bob) Donaldson of Kimball; granddaughter, Brianne Elyse Donaldson and her fiancé, Dan Patton of Georgia; grandson, Shane Thomas Donaldson and his fiancé, Valerie Farley of Kimball; great-granddaughter, Averie Elyse Donaldson of Port Huron; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Mabel) Loehnis of St. Clair and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his five brothers and a sister.Cremation has taken place.
